La Cruz Bistro Grill
 La Cruz newest addition, La Cruz Bistro Grill has been described by a visitor as "richly satisfying, with a european ambiance, soft lighting, warm wood accents and unbelievable service. No matter what you order, is all delicious".
With a seating capacity of 40, and an ambitious plan of expansion (open winter 2010) that includes a first floor and a roof bar with incredible view of Marina La Cruz, the place is unique for many reasons, its food the main one, created by owner Chef Jean Michel Channal. Chef Jean Michel arrived in Mexico 18 years ago, in 2004 he visited Puerto Vallarta to participate in the Festival International Gourmet, and fell in love with it, 6 years later he makes his dream true, to open a Bistro in Paradise, to him La Cruz the Huanacaxtle is a true paradise, 350 days of sun, a tranquil life and the opportunity to work with fresh species like mahi mahi, tuna, lobster and blue shrimp.
 Talent, creativity and lots of hard work, are the ingredients of this original Chef, a living proof of the famous Picasso quote "inspiration exists and only through hard work she will find you ". In his own words, "there will always be opportunities for the one that works with discipline. Talent doesn’t count if there is not steady hard work attitude behind it".
The setting would be another reason, simply european elegance right in La Cruz’s main Plaza, with a very well taken care of décor, cozy seating, soft music, the place is perfect for a romantic date, a tranquil dinner indoors.
Among the specialties of La Cruz Bistro Grill, the rack of lamb seasoned with fine herbs at 295 pesos is worth trying, or as entrée the shrimp crepes with mascarpone cheese, creamy carrot and ginger sauce 125 pesos, or for meat lovers NY Angus steak 360 grams 280 pesos, or a Rib Eye 300 grms 250 pesos, and don’t forget to ask for the "green tomato dessert" that is becoming a classic, known as lime sherbet with green tomato marmalade and tequila 55 pesos.
