The Nuevo Vallarta Art Community is presenting the 2nd annual art show representing the beauty and ecology of Banderas Bay at Estudio Café on the Marina at Nuevo Vallarta.
Banderas Bay, surrounded by the urban area of Puerto Vallarta from Cabo Corrientes to Punta de Mita is constantly threatened by construction. Our goal in designing our project is to create an exciting body of work that leaves a legacy of images to be enjoyed for their esthetic quality and to foster awareness for natural properties and public responsibilities. In our 2nd Annual Art Show, 30 or more artists will be participating including many of the best signatures of Banderas Bay.
The Art Opening, February 15, at 5 pm will display many mediums of art in painting and sculpture. Each evening during the show there will be entertainment in the forms of lectures, musi and video displays at Estudio Café or in the beautifully restored Kiosco in Nuevo Vallarta. The exposition of paintings will be available for viewing every evening from 4pm to 8pm or any time by appointment. The gallery will be open Sunday Feb 18th from 9am until 11:00

Viernes 16, 5pm (español) y 7pm (inglés) plática de Ing. Armando Zepeda Carrillo , Delegado Federal de Semarnat en Nayarit, sobre desarrollo sustentable y su importancia en el Gobierno de Nayarit. Exposición de pinturas 4 - 8pm
Sábado 17, 4pm (español) y 5:30pm(Inglés) Plática del Biólogo Petr Myska y el fotógrafo Eduardo Lugo, sobre la singularidad de Bahía de Banderas y el nuevo libro en que está trabajando. 7-8pm Concierto Tropical de la Orquesta Municipal de Valle de Banderas en el Kiosco de Nuevo Vallarta. Exposición de pinturas 4am a 8pm en el Estudio-Café

Miércoles 21, 6 y 8 pm- Cuentacuentos Tony Rainbow, “El Hombre que Sembraba Árboles” (Inglés). - Biólogo Cesar Fernando Miranda Ayala / Dolphin Adventure conferencia sobre Delfinoterapia (Español e Inglés) Exposición de pinturas 4pm a 8pm.
Jueves 22, 6pm - Video Francisco McCann. Exposición de pinturas 4 a 8pm.
